By chance is the photo that you have set as your background on the SD card? One thought I have is that it's saved on the SD card and maybe it changes when you plug in the USB to a computer?

Thanks, I have the wallpaper photo on my SC and on the HD but I'll make sure it's using the one from the HD and see if it still happens.
