I just saw the on android central that angry birds beta is available in they market, excitedly I went to download it. When I searched there were several apps but not the game. A friend at work has an epic and she searched and it was there. Why the hell would AT&T censor this game? And being that I am at work I can't enable side loading.

If you are near Wifi, another way to do it is by taking out your SIM card and going Wifi only. I know sometimes it wont show up for some users becasue of the way that the application was signed by the author. I have had success with taking out my SIM in the past however, but its not 100%.

1. Download/install Appbrain from the Market and run the app setup/login
2. Download/install Appbrain's "Fast Web Installer" from the Market and run the app
3. Go to Appbrain's website and choose to install Angry Birds Beta with the "Install" link under the title of the application on the application's page (this may not be working with mobile browsers; I used a desktop to do this)

Have fun.

Thanks. I've been trying that all morning but for some reason I keep getting a message saying that it's not found when i install through the Appbrain app on my Captivate. Is your Captivate rooted? I don't see how that would matter but I also have no clue as to why some Captivate owners can load it and others can't.

I've done 1 and 2 (including syncing my app and signing in via Google with both the app and the website) and yet, I can't find anywhere to click on the page to force install.

1. Download/install Appbrain from the Market
2. Download/install Appbrain's "Fast Web Installer" from the Market
3. Go to Appbrain's website and choose to install Angry Birds Beta

Have fun.

I may not be the best person to offer any help on this matter since I can not load it myself.
- Click on install on the Appbrain website (Angry Birds Lite Beta - Android app on AppBrain)
- Run the Appbrain app on your phone
- Navigate to "Manage my apps"
- Click "Sync with AppBrain" at the bottom of the screen
- And it should show up in your pending changes
- Clicking on "Perform installs" should load it

I don't see an install button on the Appbrain website. Where is it?

I think AT&T uses a mirror of the market and they are not synced yet. Either that or they have an approval process before allowing it through AT&T. I bet it's there after a while. The appbrain + appbrain fast web installer works. Also, search for the apk on twitter search. Must have side loading enabled or user the wonder app loader to push it to your phone to do it this way.
