Another 3uk question- picture mail

i have been on the phone a few times now trying to get to the bottom of this.
First off MMS is separate, this is sending a picture via email.

I kept explaining to 3 that when i sent a picture via email it was coming out of my data allowance and not the picture mail allowance.
She kept claiming that it wasn't even when i proved it by sending one and getting her to check .
She just kept repeating that these were included in picture mail.

What i think is happening is that on other phones 3 have there own email system and this is not supported on Android at the moment so even though you have free picture emails you cannot use them.

I tried again and again to explain this to the 3 support drone but to no avail so i just gave up :)

Not good and I bet no MMS are included in the tarrif. They are a bit shy with the details. I remember when companies would just take 2 o3 SMS messages off you for a MMS. Even better, on tesco, you get flexi credit to use on anything.

just tested above method looks like it works :)

MMS would be better though Jay

Its ok if the other person has an email address. My mum doesn't and I used to send her quite a few photos of the kids, all MMS are inclusive on Tesco mobile. With all the social networking sites these days a pic message is a waste of time.

*edit. I suppose because its free, it save data rather than uploading to facebook :)
