Anyone else have any luck getting angry birds to work on the dinc? mine just closes Immediately after the splash screen. No force close message or anything..anyone else having this problem?

I tired to move it to the phone from the SD card and reboot, but that didn't seem to help. Hope there is an update soon.

I moved it to my phone restarted my phone and it has worked a few times and when it does its smooth but it usually takes like 5 to 6 tries to get it open.

I left it on my phone restarted and it works well. Haven't tried moving to sd card yet.

Once you see the loading screen you need to tap the screen quickly a bunch of times until it loads.

Works 9 out of ten times.

I will need to uninstall this game as it is sucking the life out of me. I am less interesting since I started playing it 4 hours ago. I have lost friends since I started playing this game.

Working perfect for me....but I'm running SkyRaider 3.0 and not the official 2.2 release.

Hubby has the official 2.2 and it's not working for him. Bastard has stole my phone tonight!

Anybody check out the comments in the Market. It seems any phone with 2.2 is having an issue with this app. Its a 2.2 compatibility.

I just tried the "tap, tap, tap" thing and it worked 5 out of 5 times. Froyo 2.2 Official OTA

This game is so addicting it's one of the main reasons I decided not to sell my iPod Touch

Tap method works great! Once I got.the game open it was flawless. Awesome game!

Anyone know if it causes the slider bar issue?Meaning the location of it has shifted.

Anyone know how to adjust the tool bar that pop ups with add widgets, phone, and apps? its currently in landscape mode, instead of the default portait

I beat the Angry Birds Beta, which lead to a screen mentioning to get the full version. so i clicked the button and it brought me to the Angry Birds newsletter sign-up page (which i was already subscribed to). For some reason, Angry Birds has never worked since then. it shows the splash for 2 seconds then it goes back to my homescreen. Bizarre.

When it was working, the game was phenomenal though. Can't wait for a full, bug-free version.

I installed angry birds, but most of the time I can not get the app to open. It starts to load then just goes back to my home screen. At times it will take 8-10 times to get it to actually start. I have tried unistalling, and still does the same thing. I am at the point now where I can't even get it to start. Anybody else having this problem?

Yeah, this is a known problem and has been discussed in another thread around here somewhere. Another member suggested rapidly tapping on the screen after tapping on the icon to open it. I have tried this and it has worked but to be honest I'm not really sure if it is the tapping that does the trick. I think it just opens randomly regardless. Hopefully the next update to the app will fix this problem.

I didn't have that problem when I first launched the app, but I tried again after reading your post and I have the same issue. But then I tried the double tapping and it got me into the game but it completely froze my phone on exit and I had to do a battery pull to reboot. I might uninstall and wait for the beta to end.
