Help So what's the deal with Mobi TV on this phone?

Just wondering...well first i should ask, what exactly is is mobi tv? is it like sprint tv? and would it come free of charge with the vibrant, like the sprint tv comes with the htc evo 4g? thanks for any and all help!

I think it is basically live tv wherever you have wifi/3G.. i could be wrong though. It is a subscription service but i think you get a free trial, i could be wrong though.

Nope its not free entirely you get free 30 days trial then its subscription for $10 a month.

Correct. I didnt cancel because i thought i would have to give my consent to keep it going but i just called TMo and told them i didnt want it and they took it off my bill when i cancelled it with my phone after the 30 days.

It is actually pretty cool but not for $10 a month. If it were $25 a year or something then maybe. But $120 a year is ridiculous.

You guys must just be skipping through menus/tips because it tells you that it will charge you if you do not cancel when you first start it up haha. In case anyone is wondering, it's very easy to cancel and you can do it through the app.

I'd happily pay if it had live football games on there and if the data network here was god enough to stream it. Maybe not ten bucks a month though...I dunno...

No it doesn't, and I really hope someone will do something about it quick before I have to do something drastic like start a class action suit to get this to be mandatory for all media including music! I am not totally deaf but I still need deaf services like closed captions and subtitles!
I got several big name websites and services to list if their media offered captions or not, and within a day or two, they each listed which titles had the captions/subtitles.
