Dear PopCap, Why do you hate us?

Dear Pop Cap games,

Why do you still only support the pretentious mobile community? All we want is to shoot balls at pegs or pit some plants against zombies. But you still neglect us. I want to give you my money and alert my friends and make them spend money so we can compete in high scoring. Why won't you feed our casual gaming tummy? You have spoon fed it to the users of that other phone for so long.

I write you, you never write back. I check your /android page every day, and nothing ever changes. When will you truly develop for us? Why must you tease us with these empty things? It's like giving a child a box for a bad ass toy, then opening it to find its just a box.

I will still wait and hope...but it would seem you have forgotten us.

No really, I e-mail them every single day. Never once have I got a response, and still no official word? Kind of unfortunate. I would pay another 10 bucks or so for their games like I did on PSN and Xbox. I just don't understand why they don't want to take our money!

Someone hit me. Then e-mail them like I do, maybe they will show interest some day.

I think there's android specific stuff being put up at some point in the future... if you search their website you can filter games by "android" ... it's just empty at the minute

Yeah, with most android phones going 2.2 it's going to be able to handle these games much better. Patience.

Peggle is actually already available on android, it seems it's bundled with Xperia X10 mini's.

I was fully expecting popcap to beat Rovio in releasing a game on android. Rovio is already in beta and should be releasing the full version of Angry Birds soon.

Dear Pop Cap,

I tried to forget about you, but people replied to this thread and I was notified. Here i am again, saddened.

If my Droid X or OG Droid where an Xperia 10 , perhaps I could be happy. If Angry Birds hadn't of come, I may have committed some sort of phonicide. Instead, here I am, waiting on my favorite casual games, listening to My Chemical Romance, in a dark room, with my phone being lit by a candle light app...and a bucket of water sitting on my lap. If we wait much longer, I will have to put this poor yet rich, supercomputing device out of it's misery. It needs me to want to use it more. I could do that with Peggle. I could do that with Plants Vs. Zombies.

For now I will just try to remind my handset that I love it by loading your empty /android page. I will comfort it.

But who will comfort me?

Why do you hate me for using an Android? Why do you continue to reward those using the fruit device? I like fruit too..I just don't want some man telling me where I have to buy it, when I have to buy it, how much he doesn't care of the flavor, and hires little QC so that we most assuredly always get a fistful of worms...then no matter how far we tell the fruit vendor to shove it; he makes us keep it and tells us we have to eat around the bad spots! But only after we pay for that tip in the fruit market.
