Accessories HDMI cable for Incredible?

Now that the Incredible can record HD videos, I would like to purchase an HDMI cable that can play videos from my phone on my HD television. I have searched the web but the only TV Out cable I've found for the Incredible is the standard definition composite cable (red, yellow, white connectors). Does anyone know if there is a microUSB-to-HDMI cable for the Incredible?

First - Those are out of stock.

Second - Why in the world would you recommend him check out a $50 cable that his phone will not support? The HTC Incredible does NOT have HDMI out.

Just because the cable will fit into the plugs doesn't mean that it will do anything.

It was actually a major complaint about the phone when it was released.

If you want to waste $50 trying it, go for it. Just make sure whoever you buy one from has a good return policy.

I got my video out cable from Verizon for 19.95 minus the corporate discount with free shipping. It is 29.95 at HTC. Video quality is terrible for some reason. Can barely read the TV video when the cell image is perfectly clear. The last update makes the HD camcorder video fairly good. Everything else is lousy.

because it is composite video...

even 720p video will look crappy since you are sending the signal through a micro usb port, to a composite connector to a TV. if we knew what the transfer rate of the phone compared to the actual data rate of the video (exactly what type of 720p video is captured? what codec is used) we could determine if the micro USB is choking the signal, then we could look at the composite video connector. you need at least analog component to send HD video, if you are using a flat screen TV, check your info while sending the signal from the phone and see what the display says it is receiving....then we could figure out how much the TV is processing the image to display it at 16x9. remember, SD video is blown up almost 2.5x to be shown on a 1920x1080 display...

if you want video that you can send to a TV, go get yourself a Flip Camera....we have actually used this in some professional video production, doesn't look THAT bad....

it definitly depends on what you send through the cable.
what id be interested in is how would the phone send a video that you just put on your sd-card ahead of time. if you have any 1080P files that are in a format your phone can play then please try these files and hopefully it looks good.
you said the 720P recorded video looked decent. how much experience do you have looking at different video qualities on your tv?

I have the TV Out cable for the DINC.

It looks like crap on my 42 inch Plasma and my 50 inch LCD.

BUT... I took it with me when I had to spend 3 nights in a hotel with no cable service. The TV in the room was 28-30 inches and it looked just fine on that.

So all I can say is... if you travel a lot and spend time in hotels, it might be worth getting one. That's the only thing I planned on using it for anyway. It's not like I would be using my phone while I am at home with... well... a FIOS Cable Box, a DVD Player and a Blu Ray player.

I agree. Folks, we're talking about a phone here, not a 5 start Blu-ray player. We're all early adopters since we jumped on the bandwagon early on.

Here's my suggestion for watching 720p video's on your flat screens. Transfer your video to your laptops and either burn a DVD or, better yet, drop it onto a MicroSD card and plug it into the TV. I haven't made a science out of this, but my Panasonic has a SD input slot. I could be wrong, but I would think that you would get better output. The TV out cable is convienent...like if you're on vacation and want to watch the days events in your hotel. If you need HD, try removing the Micro SD card and placing it into the larger adapter so you can plug it into the TV.

The TV out cable could be way, way better than it is. The Ipod Touch composite out is about twice as clear, and handles aspect ratios properly.

Something to keep in mind folks, when on a larger screen (42+in) vs a say 32in there will be a noticeable difference in video quality on any source. Bigger screen= easier to see flaws, and not just from cellphones
