I have been a moto droid (1) user for the last year. I have decided that verizons voice/data/text plans are too expensive for my two lines of service. I'm moving to sprint, because ATT isn't much better than verizon.

I went in last week fully prepared to move to the evo 4. Yes the phone I have now has a physical keyboard, and yes I like having a keyboard. The evo 4 seems like a better built phone. I'm just torn so I came here for answers.

With the EVO being a few months old I wonder if a new phone is slated for fall or winter. That is my biggest worry. I want to have a solid tech choice for at least 10 months out of my 12 (annual upgrade). If I go with the Epic I know that that will be the case.

So I guess my search will begin.

Welcome to Android Forums! Glad you signed up! You've come to the right place for advice on this subject. We have Sprint, Evo and Epic subsections. I'd ask your questions there. You're liable to get biased viewpoints in each forum. ;)

Good luck!

Hi I'm new here too. Just to let you know if you don't know already, you'd have to pay an extra 10 a month for Sprint's 4g service and depending on where you live you might not even get to use it. And also get a Samsung Galaxy S phone, on Sprint it's the Epic 4g. You can't go wrong with that phone.
