Root Themes on Fresh 3.2

Thanks guys.

I took apart Fresh 3.2 Framework-res.apk yesterday and I spent a few hours customizing Images n stuff. I put it all back together and I reflashed the 3.2 rom and I hated the redone images. Everything looked like poopoo lol!

So I finally just downloaded a Theme: I am currently using Manup like Rdot9.

I really love it! I just wish it had a tad more color on the icons and I would be in heaven!

That exact link posted in your quote will not work on Fresh 3.2 you will have to download the Sense 2.2 Version. [THEME] 8/30/2010 Manup456 The EVO Collection 2.2 UPDATED =) - xda-developers
That is the link but you will want to make sure your downloading the (All Sense 2.2) version.

So with that being said, i would have to download Sense custom rom correct? and Would i matter if i use Clockwork or Amon Recovery or is this a different subject?

And what is kernel?

Did not quite understand what you ment to say in your last post.

Get Amon Recovery > Get Fresh 3.2

Reboot phone in to HBOOT > Go to Recovery > Do Nandroid Backup > Then do a Wipe (Factory Reset - This will wipe Data + Cache) > Then return and do Install From Zip File
Choose Fresh 3.2.0.0
When its done reboot the phone.

If the phone loads up fine go to the link I supplied in the prev. post.

Download 8/31/2010 All Sense 2.2
Place that zip file on your SDCard

Reboot the phone in to HBOOT Go to Recovery > Again do a Nandroid Backup > Return then do Install from Zip file (Dont wipe the phone) Install that Zip File we just placed on the SDCard (I dont remember what it was called.)
When it is done reboot the phone.

Once your phone reboots you will be running Fresh 3.2 Rom + the New HTC Software with Manup Custom Theme.

Every theme I try on Fresh 3.2 causes my gmail to crash on startup. Anyone is this happening to anyone else?

This is an easy fix, are you using titanium backup? if not you can do this from the applications menu. If using titanium backup, select backup/restore, find gmail, and select it and select wipe data, then it should work. If u dont have titanium, go to settings, applications, manage applications, all, gmail, clear data, reload your settings and you should be good to go
