For all you guys out there who like taking themes to the max, I was tipped to this website by Android Forums - View Profile: incrediblenotinstock

http://www.gimpsta.com/themer/

you will want to jump over to Xda here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416

and pick up the high res v27 for froyo if your on froyo the other if you are not and pick up that zip. You will need the clicker hi apk from that zip if you want to adjust the settings for the keyboard. Thanks airmaxx23

I didn't create this website or any of the themes there All credit goes to those that did. I just wanted to share with the community. Its very easy and a straight forward process and it creates a QR code (which I never got to work) and a download link to dl the apk and side load it like you would any other app. If you already have the htc.ime keyboard installed, you will want to uninstall it first. It does hold a lot of memory (around 11mb in running processes for me) but it doesn't lag. It also isn't multi touch, but I have found typing very fluid for me.

enjoy and I'll try and help anyone that has questions.
And of course post em up!!!!!!!!!

are you running 2.1 or 2.2 ? did you select the V27 for the appropriate OS version? Also did you grab the clicker hi apk from the zip from Xda or Airmaxx23's link? Also when you download the file from the website it comes as a zip. you will need to extract the themed apk from the zip before you install it

Ok what you need to do now is uninstall the stock HTC_ime keyboard and install your themed keyboard. It installs/uninstalls just like any other app.

Glad to see my site still making the rounds on various android forums, and also glad to see everyone enjoying it! :)

New feature just went live couple hours ago, you all now have the ability to create custom primary/function keys (colors/gradients/shape/transparency level/etc). This has been probably the most requested feature since the kitchen went online, and also was probably the biggest technical hurdle to face (given I had to automate ninepatch compilation).

Should start to see some really sick skins coming out of the kitchen!

Nice, I'm off to the kitchen to see what I can cook up.

Great job in putting this out there for people. I certainly appreciate!

Can someone please help explain to me how to put a themed keyboard onto it. Thanks

where are you getting stuck? First thing you need to do is dl the HTC_IME mod from either my link at XDA or Airmaxx23 link just below for the version of android you have. Once you have that unzip it and move the clicker hi to your sd card. Once you have it on your sd card. Go to the website to theme your keyboard. after the process is done you will dl the file, unzip it and move the keyboard to your sd card. Now use whatever file manager you use (astro, OI, stock) and find the apks for clicker and your keyboard. Click on them and you will be asked to install them. Once that is done, go to settings>keyboard>and check the box next to HTC_IME. After you've enabled it go to any text field and long press. Select input method>HTC_IME and you are good to go!
