Help Handcent SMS issue,

Hi guys and girls


I need help as I have pulled my hair out trying to sort the issue out.

I was using standard SMS for the Desire, but then found Handcent which I love.........BUT, since I have downloaded it I can not seem to reply to any of my friends Facebook statues???????

And I do not want to uninstall it (if Possible)

Does anybody know how to resolve the issue....

Please help

You have to subscribe to Facebook SMS status updates. When subscribed, you will be notified via SMS that the people that has updated their status on FB had done so. When they accept you as part of their Facebook, you are given the option to have SMS updates forwarded to you automatically. It is an option you can set up later if you don't do it when you first become friends on FB. Good luck.

I've seen that option in facebook but it seems a very long winded way of doing it.

Can you not just download facebook for android and then set that to automatically notify you of any updates? Would be a lot easier and cheaper as I am pretty sure FB would charge you for those texts.

If not that way why not use the inbuilt Friend Stream widget and set it to update hourly? Can then just flick through and see whats changed.

I use Handcent and its great but never tried FB updates.
