Help Anyone having an issue with Gmail since Froyo?

I have 2 gmail accounts, and neither one of them are automatically syncing

I have background data on, auto-sync is on, mobile data is on, and i can browse websites so i know i haven't lost 3G (im assuming thats true), and in accounts&sync i have gmail checked to sync.

But i have to open gmail, then the specific acct, then hit menu and "Refresh"

My pop3 and my gmail were both acting squirrely after the update - mine were deleting as soon as I read them online. I deleted and reinstalled them, and they are both fine now.

I only have 2 accts, one of them is the gmail acct i used to activate the phone. I thought it wasnt possible to delete that?
