Hi All!

I am looking for this app and cannot find it in the android store on my mobile, it is a free application from sony to control bluray players...

Has anyone got a link for the download of it. I simply cannot find it!
I have already tried to download it direct but the store says nothing found, which is weird for a free application, and i have a unlocked x10 mini pro.
So if anyone has it ans had the apk file that would be great!

Thanks!:)

Hi

I have tried getting it from there, but that also seems to link back to the androd market? am i correct in assuming that?

Yup, Appbrain has the same stuff as the Market, I believe, but it allows you to search for apps from a PC and queue them up to be installed on your phone. In fact, I just queued up this BD Remote app to my phone, which is in a locker in a different building from me, so when I go out on break, I'll fire my DX up and it should install without me having to really do anything, like remember to get this app! Hope it works on the PS3!... Crap, just went back to look at it in better detail, and it does NOT work with the PS3:( guess I'll cancel that install.

When i goto the the appbrain app on my phone i see the BD REMOTE application but it then jumps to the android market store to install and says cannot find.... can anyone get me the apk file so i can install it manually?

That's odd...BD Remote shows up fine in the Market. The only other thing I can suggest is to install Fast Web Installer...with that you can send apps directly to your phone and bypass the Market. Once it's installed, go to Appbrain, find BD Remote, and click install. A popup will show what permissions the app needs, and from there you can continue the install.

Nice find the Fast Web Installer is.

I downloaded the Media Remote (used to be called BD Remote) on my phone and tried to link it to my Sony BDP-S570. I followed all the directions, but when trying to add registration on my phone, it says nothing is found. My bluray is set to find new BD remote devices at the same time when I try to sync my phone. Any ideas? Grrrrrrr....
