Just wondering if anybody knows if someone is working on an android port for this. There's apparently people working on it for Iphone and the Palm pre is already working.

This basically lets a PS3 run unsigned code(iso loading has been disabled for those would be pirates). Basically we can backup legit games on the internal or external HDD, I guess this means you could rent the game and copy it. And there's the possibility of custom firmware in the near future. Meaning The PS3 can FINALLY be used to its full potential, maybe even re-opening the Other OS that Sony patched out(Who knows?).

You can also download the games and put them on an external or internal drive and play many that way.
A ps3 ftp server has been released which lets us explore many avenues. One dev is already working on custom firmware.
Nope, .iso loaders haven't been made and the ability was disabled. You have to have a legit copy of the game in order to rip it to any hdd. Sorry.

Get your facts straight buddy coz when you backup a game, its not protected in anyway so you can just upload it online and vice versa. The backup is not in iso format so isoloaders are not required. Straight copy/pasting is all thats needed. While i dont encourage piracy, it is possible with psfreedom!
