Hey guys...I was getting everything setup for a 2.2 deodex froyo flash. The last thing i did was remove the logwrapper instead of renaming it. I know this is what screwed me over. Now when I reboot I get stuck on Moto Symbol. For some reason it killed my battery too. I cant SBF because it now says my battery is too low. Before it said that I was getting an error in RSD 4.7 saying something about ini file missing for something. Regardless I cant do anything. It just stays at the moto symbol. If I cant charge my phone wtf am i supposed to do? Put a .zip on my sd card that will fix it? Im stuck...plz help.

***EDIT***
Ok went to the Verizon store this morning, Played dumb and got a new battery (was in the store for 3 minutes) I was surprised by how fast the threw me a new battery. Flashing back with the SBF now. Should be good to go shortly, thanks for all your help guys, I thanked everyone in this post!

You have a couple options.

First, make sure you've replaced the flash.ini file that is floating around in these forums. That will make sure flashing .sbf works.

1) Borrow a battery from a friend/coworker/verizon store
2) If you get a "code corrupt" issue in the bootlader, there's a really ghetto solution that involves stripping a usb cable and connecting it to the battery leads that's also floating around the forums.

I don't think it's perma-bricked though. Just takes a little more work than usual

right, right, right, right that is how you do it
here is rsd lite with the patch Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
you got to overwrite the one that is on rsd lites program files

that ghetto solution is pretty scary

Well Now when I connect it via usb I get a green light. As opposed to no green light through direct wall power. Im assuming its charging the battery, It must be 100% dead. Cant even boot into USB Rsd mode...I hate the waiting game.

Edit: When I boot into bootloader it says "battery low, cannot program".
When plugged into the wall I get a picture of a battery with a ? in the middle of it.
