Coverz N' Lidz Frosted TPU Case

Just got my Frosted TPU case -thanks again Jeff (misticjeff)!

I ordered from coverznlidz.net which I believe used to be evocases.net. I was confused at first because when I first saw this case on some YouTube vids, the site was still evocases.net.

Anyway, on to the case...
The case came well packaged with speedy first-class delivery. The case itself was also packaged in plastic. Upon initial inspection the case felt solid, but I have had a more "solid" TPU case on my 2nd Gen iPod Touch made by DLO (photos 1, 2). I can usually tell how tough/durable the TPU is by gently bending the sides of the phone (lengthwise) to see how much play there is when pulling. I'm debating on getting a Zagg InvisibleShield (screen protector only), so maybe this will allow the phone to fit a lot more snug.

On the video on YouTube, the EVO is shown with the Frosted Case with and without the back cover. I particularly liked the look of the EVO w/case but without the back battery cover. I tried doing this, but the case ended up being less snug (not by much) so I decided to leave my white back cover on.

The buttons and cutouts all work great, but the power button is a bit harder to push down now. It probably just takes some getting used to. The camera is A LOT better protected now thanks to the design of the case; flash and speaker quality was not sacrificed at all.

Verdict:
BEST CASE AVAILABLE FOR ONLY $6.01 SHIPPED! I would rate this case a 9/10 overall. I also love how it looks; I personally like how the 2nd top half of the case is cleared out. I only had a few gripes on the power button being a bit hard to depress and also on how the case fits without the back cover, but I'm sure Jeff can take these into account for future revisions of this case.

Thanks again, Jeff!

How much thicker does this make the phone overall. Is it noticeable?

It's not much thicker. I have mine on and it doesn't feel or look much thicker. Also, the little nub/flap wasn't on mine.

I got my case yesterday; ordered it on Tuesday. Impressively fast shipping!

However I'm bummed the www.sprintusers.com coupon Code: suforum2010 didn't work. Maybe it only works on black TPU cases?

Case doesn't pick up lint/hair which I like. However as others have pointed out the volume/power buttons are VERY hard to press. I tried cutting away from the power button but I still have to press my nail into it. Not a big deal and still worth the price.

Update:
It's been less than 2 weeks, but the power button is noticeably easier to press. However, I still sometimes have trouble with the volume rocker. Other than that the case has been great. I did drop my phone once being drunk at the club (about 5 feet from the ground) and my phone wasn't affected at all, it didn't get a scratch nor crack. Very happy with the product..

The case does not add much thickness at all, yet feels very solid.

good write up. i bought one of these when the site was first up. my power button was way to hard to push, so i just cut it out. you cant even really tell that i modified it. i still love it :)

How and with what did you make the cutouts? I just got the case and it is beautiful but the only thing about it that holds it back are the buttons being hard to press.
