Just got my Frosted TPU case -thanks again Jeff (misticjeff)!
I ordered from coverznlidz.net which I believe used to be evocases.net. I was confused at first because when I first saw this case on some YouTube vids, the site was still evocases.net.
Anyway, on to the case...
The case came well packaged with speedy first-class delivery. The case itself was also packaged in plastic. Upon initial inspection the case felt solid, but I have had a more "solid" TPU case on my 2nd Gen iPod Touch made by DLO (photos 1, 2). I can usually tell how tough/durable the TPU is by gently bending the sides of the phone (lengthwise) to see how much play there is when pulling. I'm debating on getting a Zagg InvisibleShield (screen protector only), so maybe this will allow the phone to fit a lot more snug.
On the video on YouTube, the EVO is shown with the Frosted Case with and without the back cover. I particularly liked the look of the EVO w/case but without the back battery cover. I tried doing this, but the case ended up being less snug (not by much) so I decided to leave my white back cover on.
The buttons and cutouts all work great, but the power button is a bit harder to push down now. It probably just takes some getting used to. The camera is A LOT better protected now thanks to the design of the case; flash and speaker quality was not sacrificed at all.
Verdict:
BEST CASE AVAILABLE FOR ONLY $6.01 SHIPPED! I would rate this case a 9/10 overall. I also love how it looks; I personally like how the 2nd top half of the case is cleared out. I only had a few gripes on the power button being a bit hard to depress and also on how the case fits without the back cover, but I'm sure Jeff can take these into account for future revisions of this case.
Thanks again, Jeff!
