Hide apps from app drawer

Is there a way to hide apps from the app drawer without either rooting the phone or downloading a launcher/home replacement (Launcher Pro)??

In LauncherPro go to Preferences/General Settings. You will see Hidden Apps. From there you can pick which apps you prefer not to show in the app drawer. You will have to restart LauncherPro for the changes to take effect. I had heard about it, so I went ahead and tried it...it works.

oops...didn't read closely enough...you said without downloading a launcher. My apologies. At least I learned something out of it.

Is it possible to do that Automactically? Like the iPhone folder?

Once I dragged the drawer icon to the Launcher. The app in the drawer will be removed.
