I don't suppose you still have an old less-feature-rich version back in your archives that only needed the 1.5 API's? There's a lot of us that are still stuck with Android 1.5 for the foreseeable future. And I'd really like to try your app!...even if it has to be an older version that doesn't have all the current goodies.
If its not really feasible, I'll just have to wait for Sprint to update me
Yeah, I unpublished it a few days ago because I was thinking of maybe updating it to version 3.0 for users running 1.5... but I read that HTC was working on the new update so hopefully all phones get updated to 1.6-2.0 soon.
Not sure what happened to my last post, but I'll repeat. 3.0 is something I need asap. I didn't realize you, crackertc, were the developer. I like to keep my phone on at night in case my kids call but can't be bothered with the message tones. I would gladly pay a premium to have 3.0 on the Eris if possible. We really aren't sure when 2.0 will be out. Does 3.0 Bedside have an analog clock?

I know, there are many rumors, and also leaked roms out there proving that HTC has been working on 2.0 - 2.1, so that's why I haven't bothered on writing a whole new Bedside 3.0 for 1.5 users, I'd rather spend that time implementing new features for 3.1.
Bedside 2.1.3 should work just fine for you in the mean time, from what I think, HTC should release an update by late Dec, early Jan. By then, hopefully I'll have 3.1 out.
No, Bedside doesn't have an analog clock, will keep that in mind for later

Yeah, there is something soothing about an analog clock at night. It's like, who needs the exact time? 15 minutes here or there work just fine for me at 3 AM. ; Is there a way in 2.1.3 that will allow phone calls only?

2.1.3 already does that,, it only allows phone calls, just make sure you set the desired ring style mode that you'd like phone calls to be when receiving a call while Bedside is open, BEFORE you open bedside.
For example, if you want the phone to only vibrate when getting a call, or ring at a certain volume, put that setting, then open Bedside. It will silent absolutely everything BUT calls.
3.0 has the same features, but it also includes the ability to let SOME SMS to go through using a whitelist.
SMS Whitelists are already implemented, and Calls Whitelists are coming soon as well as weather, should be coming up as the next update unless a bug shows up.
Actually, on version 3.0 the sms whitelists are already implemented, its just that 3.0 only works for users running 1.6 or 2.0 (G1, myTouch, Droid, etc.).
How do I get Bedside to be the default application when connected to the Media Dock?
When I first installed it kept asking me which I wanted to use etc and I choose the default media dock configuration; I'd like to change this to Bedside now..

You have to go into Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
Search for the Dock (or MediaDock), click on it, then scroll down and click on the button that says "Clear Defaults".
This will clear the default dock to be the default action when connected to the dock. Now you can connect the phone to the dock and select Bedside and mark it as default.
I'm sorry I don't have a Droid with me to tell you which one it is exactly, I just followed generic-Android instructions.
Did you try Motorola Dock? Moto Dock? Home Dock?
I will ask around and see how the Dock application is called, I know the package name is com.motorola.DockApp, it might show up in the list like that, but I'm not sure.
