Root Battery Percentage Icon

This will replace the stock battery indicator with a circular bar that includes percentage remaining. I flashed this on the DC 3.5 ROM and it works perfectly.

Perfect. that looks very nice. and very useful. can't believe the stock indicator doesn't include the percentage. especially since the graphic is not accurate at all.

Yea the stock indicator was practically useless. I was using the battery indicator app up until today but I hate having a cluttered taskbar...

correct me if im wrong as i am a newbie in regards to androids. This wont work on rooted stock 2.2 froyo will it? Or will i need to flash it with some sort of custom rom?

Novox btw, i juust finished getting the RUU to work. I think im back on 2.2 stock and unrooted. Im going to double check. Hopefully i dont eff it up again thanks for your help

I swear...every time I think I understand this crap...

deodexed rom allows you to simply overwrite the old framework apk with the new. If you do this with an odexed rom, your phone will take a crap on you. Installing this indicator as an update.zip formatted package allows it to work for both odex and deodexed roms. Anyway, that's my understanding. And I know it works on my stock odexed ROM.

This thing gave me about 40 Force closes in a row and i had to do a battery pull and a nand restore.

Did the same for me except I didn't have a current nandroid back up and royaly edged my phone took hours to get right, oh well my fault but if anyone has any ideas I loathe my stock battery. I'm currently on stock 2.2 w senceUi (incredible) I rooted with unrevoked 3.21 and juuust want to replace battery icon. Thanks
