Root hi everyone

i have a droid x 2.1 had it for about a month and love it... I have a question, i rooted my phone with universal androot and my question is, when 2.2 official comes out and my phone asks me to update, should i unroot my phone and then update or should i just go ahead and update with the androot still installed?

Root doesn't do anything i believe if you stay on 2.1 with root then when the ota comes around and you update all that will happen is that you will lose root.

Yes, you should be able to receive the OTA nicely. You do lose root though.

no, you aren't forced and 2.2 is rootable already
