ok im not sure if this has been addressed, i have searched through the forums for some answers without asking, as i know repetitive questions are annoying and old.

however,

i rooted my X with the androot,
downloaded all of the apps that was in the app list to get once rooted, downloaded FlyX and installed, however once the phone restarted, stuck on the big M luckily i had a backup ready to go so i restored the phone, last night however i wasnt so lucky, i tried the new 2.3 update, and well lets say big M for 30 mins til i was able to flash it back to stock. so can anyone, help me with this issue, i know i am doing these steps the correct way, i make a backup each time, and i check the cache data help plz

To me it sounds like the problem is you never installed the original 2.2 froyo leak. You can't go from rooted 2.1 to flyx or to 2.2 2.3.13 directly.

You need to download the 2.2 from rom manager. once you have that installed and running then you can go to flyx, tranquility, or 2.3.13.
