Using the leaked 2.2 and 2.3 update? I have questions for you.

It's easy to install the leaked 2.2.

Much harder to go back to 2.1.

The OTA version will be here next week, maybe the week after, and I'm confident it has stuff fixed that the leaked 2.2 version doesn't.

Go read about the problems the 2.3 users are having. Better to wait IMO.

Here's something to think about: if you install either version and later install a patch to enable future OTA updates and now you have a problem with something, in the back of your mind you'll wonder if waiting and installing the OTA version would have fixed it.

Unless you've had experience with things like this and don't mind the risk, I'd wait.

How is the leaked 2.2 for DX? Do you think that the leaked 2.2 is missing anything that the official OTA will have? I want to try out the leaked 2.2, but I have worries about the stability.

It has been very stable for me other than the phone rebooting, catching on fire, and smelling like s**t it has been fine...on a serious note...I have the leak and have had no problems...;)

personally the leaks have been very stable for me. And I'm sure that the ota will be ripped into a rooted deodexed update.zip for the rooting crowd

To me I could care less when the ota comes out. The froyo we have has been good for me

updating to 2.3.13 was all find and dandy, however, it looks as though Chrome to Phone is broken. can you verify on your phone if you are having the same issue as well? thanks.

have the latest update and chrome to phone is working fine.

weird. stopped working after 2.3.13 update. at a loss as to what is causing it to not work. not having this feature is almost grounds for me to go back to stock 2.1 if need be.

EDIT: resolved the issue. it was because my existing gmail account was corrupted in some way. i had to create new gmail account. this resolved the issue.

i'm pretty sure its some old data/caching issue that could be causing the problem.

I installed the leak and rolled back once I found out that there was no upgrade path. I have also said I would not root my phone and that is a first for me. I normally root right away and not worry, but this phone is different. I dont want to worry about what a rom might break and things like that. So I am keeping mine stock with OTAs only for a bit.
