CM 6.0.2, KingXKlick AOSP BFS #1. 1683 is the highest I've seen, and it was 1530 off of a cold boot. Any other examples to wave at the Droid X users?

This was posted by ChiTownJim on the ShadowROM thread:

"With the new AOSP Kernal from King , I was able to hit 1800 Quadrant at 1.113ghz by far the fastest combo I've used"

I hit 1500's at stock speed of 998 on CM6, so 1600 overclocked isn't too impressive.

Every phone will be diffrent maybe his/hers phone couldn't hit that amount. I have run quadrant on 5 Incredibles some are faster then others my original incredible couldn't break 1300 stock2.2 my new incredible hit's 1400 I've done one that wouldn't break 1250.

So it all depends on the phone itself, the reason why some phones can handle 1.19ghz while others can't even handle 1.113ghz

It is easy to get high quandrant scores when you have faster IO access and nothing else running - that is why sense roms will always be lower then ASOP roms.

Long as the phone feels snappy to me I am happy - and being an ex blackberry user / current blackberry administrator - i know how slow things can really be :p

My I/O score did increase a bit over what it was with a sense ROM with cm6, but the biggest increase was on the CPU. My CPU score is higher at stock clock speed now in cm6 than it was in sense at 1152mhz.

its beyond me why people care so much about quadrant scores...

It's the natural male competitive instincts and wanting to do everything better and / or faster.
It's just fun, I rarely ever run my phone the way I have it set up when I run a Quadrant test, but it's still fun.

It's the same as when I use to take my car to the track, I never have my car setup the way it is at the track so what's the point? the proof in the slip haha

Amen brother! I still keep my storm in case I ever need to throw something heavy and worthless at an intruder or something. :)

Wow....wrong forum buddy. This is an HTC Incredible forum. Something tells me you did this on purpose though...

also that is not with the voodoo lagfix im assuming so its a fake score anyway. the other lagfix doesnt really improve performance to that point, although it appears like it was an improvement over stock. It looks like those who've installed voodoo are getting 1700s-low 1800s. Who knows what they ll get when froyo is available. Quadrant aside, the sf is a lot better phone then I was giving it credit for when it first came out and now that my droid x is gone I think ill be adding that to its older brother my htc incredible.

oh and my best ever quadrant run: miui v0.3 kings aosp bfs #1 at 1.15 (havent tried at the newest miui at xda yet)
