not to bump an old thread...but...bump. what's up with the lack of a good American football game? I see madden running on the ipad in the TV ads, and it makes me sad.
i cant believe something wasnt ported? anyone have any word, or timetable for one? there has to be a huge market for it here. I would think, at least in the states, it would sell well over a soccer game.
Yea, i have psx4droid. EA sports games do not run on it...and it appears to be abandonware. He has yet to add any udates to his $6 app.... I have gameday 2000 currently on it. However, it runs at about 60% speed, and the controls are hard with a touch screen. Was hoping for a dedicated app. maybe next year...
There's also QB Attack Deluxe which is essentially a game in which you're the QB and you have to pass the football for points. I really enjoy it, but it does have a minor bug in which sometimes the routes aren't displayed properly. It's been 3 weeks and the dev has yet to release any updates.
And now there's Flick Kick in which you kick field goals.
If we assemble these together with Backbreaker then we'll finally have a real Football game!?
EA Games released Madden 11 for the Galaxy Tab, but I hear the rosters are not updated. Would love for it to be released for the phones. I don't really care about the rosters as much as the game itself

Ya...I could care less about the roster...I just want the game. It doesn't appear like they'll release it for any phones, other than the Droid X they originally made it for. EA sucks...it seemed like they started getting into Android a little bit; they released a fair amount of titles last year, but for the first four months of 2011 we haven't really seen anything (aside from Bejewled 2, which is technically a PopCap title anyway).
The promised Madden 11 to the Android Market is limited to the Galaxy Tab which is extremely lame.
Hi guys, I've had this same frustration and have started to make a football game myself.
Right now it seems like all that's on the market is simulation games and single task games like QB Attack Deluxe mentioned above. The best game I have played is Go Long Football.
Game if Inches is looking awesome already and you can check it out at: GameOfInches.org.
