Ebay products, Battery, Charger, Case! O_o

For all you Galaxy S owners. I present you my impressions!

I like the case overall, except for the volume controls, which you cant really feel that well. But it is so much better without a case at all!

Ive dropped my phone a good 8-10 times on my kitchen floor, concrete floor, and carpet. No scratches, but every single time I thought I had shattered my screen.

Case gets a 8/10!

Battery + Charger with USB slot gets a 10/10 Its nice that goes from pink to blue when its fullly charged!

In all I spent about $15 for everything. All came in today. Ordered about 2 weeks ago, came all the way to from Hong Kong!

I have not tried the battery yet, I will start tonight after I am all done all this stuff. And post tomorrow the results. (I sleep 4 hours a day so it wont be on stand-by all night and I use my phone a LOT.)

So pretty good sheat overall. A+ to shipper, would buy again!

Good timing, as I've just bought the same charger from Ebay (different seller) and have a question.

The Ebay Ad says 'This travel charger can be used anywhere in the world with the U.S version 2pin style plug. If you have trouble finding a power outlet, then you can plug the charger to a laptop or PC/Mac through a standard USB cable'

Which I believe is wrong, I think you can only connect it as you have i.e. just power from the mains, and not power via a USB port on a PC. Can oyu see any way you can connect the charger to your PC? I think it needs female-female USB cable, which I have not seen.

Hope that answers that. I just popped in the battery right now as I write this. charged over night. So lets see how long this thing will last.

Going to be testing with full brightness on max, and with wifi. With general web browsing, and gaming.

I bought the $15 package with 3 screen protectors, silicone case, batt x2 and wall charger and cable. Fantastic deal arrived in about 8 days from Hong Kong. Love the case. Screen protectors not too good, trashed 2 and 3rd worked well enough but not perfect. Love the battery charger. I just swap the battery out every morning and ever night and so my phone never needs to be tethered to a charger, and I saved one battery as a backup to use as needed. Battery life seems to be roughly the same as factory. Very pleased as all this stuff would have been well over $100 if bought at Tmobile store.

Glad it all worked out for you. I am thinking of getting another spare battery.

The one I got has good charge still at 98%.

Its just better to have more, as one day I know I will be needing more.

Why not right its only a few bucks

This stuff would have cost me over $150 in the stores here.

Just battery alone is $90 and with tax already comes out to $100

I just need a USA to UK power adaptor now...

And there goes my battery. Lasted me 8 hours in total!

Its pretty darn good. I had my screen on max brightness, and browser aswell.

I had wifi running the whole time even when I was outside.

And I ran my live wallpaper the whole time on max effects such as light and wind.

I know I could have extended my battery life by probably double or triple if I did not run live wallpapers and max brightness. But I dont mind especially now with my spare battery.

Its going to be used as a spare only, the main battery will always be primary.

Pretty happy with my purchase. Going to be buying 2 batteries and chargers!

I think this should be good as a recommendation for everyone as a spare battery.

does this battery deffo work for my UK galaxy s? i know id have to use a transformer plug for the charger so its 3pin, but im worried about the battery not charging properly as a result of this or leaking or not being compatible with my i9000.

anyone from the uk already ordered this and can confirm it works without any problems for them?

p.s sorry if this is a stupid q, this is my first android and i only got it this morning... left it to charge since 8:30am and its 1:20pm now but im gonna let it go on till about 8:30pm so it has a full 12 hour charge... unless thats the wrong thing to do :-| lol

Its for the i9000 Samsung Galaxy S so I am sure it will work. I charge my batteries for 12 hours all the time haha.

The good thing about this charger is, it lights up blue when its fully charged.

So pretty good to know!

Well, it seem the Ebayer was correct, you CAN charge via USB on your Pc - you just need a male-male USB cable. Mine is red and charging now

I also bought this charger and batteries and have been rotating them from phone to charger so i always have charged spares ready to go. What do you think about using this charger with the original Samsung battery? I would think it's just fine just like charging these replacement batteries in the phone by plugging it in, am I right?
Thoughts?
