I think my battery indicator is causing a medical condition for me :(

I think my battery is not actually bad, but i FREAK OUT when i see the little battery color is more than half empty. Even though that might mean it still has like 6 or 7 hours of life left!

But last night my phone was plugged in, little did i know i forgot to plug the charger in! So i woke up to see my battery at ... 49%!!!!!

Man my heart sank, my mouth went dry, i was clenching my teeth ... when i saw that little battery half empty, then opened up BatteryLeft and saw it was YELLOW!! WHAT?!?!@$!@#? YELLOW??#@!@#

Now I see it as a challenge to see how long I can get my battery to run before it dies. I like to see 14 or more hours of time unplugged! It is exciting! Haha, I have excepted the charge every night task.

Haha, I have the same condition! For whatever reason to me a half battery is an almost dead battery, and I start panicking. Sure it took 10 hours to get to that point, and I still have another 10 hours of life yet, but I just feel the need to plug it in over night.

You never know when you could be stranded in and isolated desert (but close enough to a verizon tower) for three days, and a full-ish battery could save your life!...or at least keep busy with SumbleUpon until rescuers show up.

Hahaha, dude I will set my alarm with 56% battery (IE tonight) and go all day tmw fine without a charge, (ill be at school all day, 3g is off most of the day) and 3g is off at night. There's ways to work with it if you find yourself in real desperate needs. If you have a GPS for your car, (Used to be great for the Eris, but get an adapter from that to fit the Incredible, prolly cheaper than a car, charger, plus if you need to charge real fast, you'll be surprised how much actually gets charged in a short matter of time with the phone turned off.

Wouldn't it be cool if the battery cover was actually a solar cell????????? Then, you could just lay the phone down in a room and it could charge from the lights! When out hiking/camping/watching a football game, etc, it could be charging!

Stole the words outta my mouth, 2 days ago changed it in batteryleft that it will stay green till 19%. Really helped my ocd

I have it set to show the estimated time that it will die, time left, and temperature. NO MORE %% fixation!

This comes into play even more when using SetCPU profiles since it will even take into consideration how much longer your phone lasts after throttling down the CPU clock, too.

I feel your pain. My wife uninstalled all the battery meters I had on my phone because I was(am?) simply nutz about running out of battery power.
I wonder where the support thread is for those of us that suffer from this rare condition.
