wanna see something amazing with your EVO right now?

take your phone outside in the night sky if you're on the east coast .open up your google sky app if you have it downloaded. and then aim your phone at the brightest thing you see in the sky. After that go do a Google search on what you see. It is an interesting rare occurrence. For those of you who know already, please don't spoil it for the others. I found it by mistake tonight. First time using google sky also.

So what was it? The brightest object in the sky is always
Venus
unless this was some weird exception.

Edit:
Except for the moon, of course!

Sorry, have been busy. What happened was this: I went outside and aimed the Evo with google sky open at what I thought was an unusually bright star or planet. When I did the app showed Jupiter and uranus on top of each other. I thought this strange so I googled it and read that it was a rare occurrence. It was an interesting site and an interesting read afterward.

I did the exact same thing last Saturday night, but because of my angle reading from my Google sky map, I didn't realize that Uranus was underneath the Jupiter. But I thought it was kinda rare that Jupiter was so bright because usually the only planet that burns through the light pollution is Venus (which someone mentioned above). Good catch on the double planet thing, Ricker.

So Jupiter was riding Uranus?

So Jupiter was riding Uranus? Wonder how the Klingons feel about that?
