I have a ymail account so I installed the Yahoo Mail app. Love the way it looks and works for the most part. However if I send an email to someone and they reply back to me I can see the first two lines of it when I check out the email list as it shows the first two preview lines. However, when I open the email up all I see is my original email to them. None of their text is present. If I go back to the email list and look at the list of emails I can still see the first two lines previewed. I have to add a Yahoo account to my phone so that I can then go into the "messaging" inbox and view the email. From there I can read all of the reply from my friend. This only happens if someone is replying to an email I sent them. If they send me a new email I can read it just fine.

Anybody else seeing this?

yep, it happens to me also. I open a reply and all I see is the original email and not the reply. weird. Seems to happen to me when people with yahoo addresses reply to me.

Exactly the problem with the Yahoo address reply.

I came from an iPhone where every bit of software ran perfectly for me to this OS where it seems everything has bugs. I wonder is it the OS that is flakey or is it companies like Yahoo can't write code? Hmmm... The one nice thing about Apple is they need to write code for one phone, Google has to have an operating system for multiple phones, multiple processors, etc... with multiple companies skins on them. While this OS has a ton of potential I just don't know if it will ever catch up to Apple in terms of smoothness of operation. So far the email and GPS stuff are both way behind the iPhone. Well the GPS is lacking in terms of apps like The Weather Channel, where it shows me to be typically over a mile down the road from where I am, sometimes as much as 2-3 miles away.

I'm beginning to think you're right about Yahoo not being able to write code. I have the Yahoo Mail app as well. I have two mail accounts on Yahoo under the same ID. One is the free Yahoo email account, and the other is my premium small business email, with my own domain name, which I pay $10 a month for. On a PC, I merely toggle between them. there doesn't seem to be a toggle on the phone app, however, and I don't seem to have a choice of accounts. I only get the free one, which of course I don't use. Who thinks of this stuff at Yahoo--you'd think they'd SUPPORT a paid service? If I use their mobile web on the browser, same problem. I could use the regular browser, but really too painful to do.

I think I've gone through every menu and command to find a toggle, checked all the Yahoo Help, which tells you to click a non-existent "Customer Care" button to get more help, etc.

Does anyone else have this problem or has anyone found a solution?
