I just read an article at engadget about verizon releasing LTE to the nfl cities. My question is, when its finally released will our incredibles be able to get 4g? I don't really know a lot about 4g? Will only 4g phones work on LTE?

Word. Our phones aren't LTE compatible. Hopefully by the time LTE is in full swing, I'll be eligible for my annual upgrade

I'm already eligible, I opened an account for my sone when the Inc. was released, used it to buy hte inc, gave him a dumb phone and am now ready for LTE

It will help some people and kill others, I could get away with a cheap plan and use wifi, saving myself money. but atts i think its lke 200mb for $15 thats BS!!

When they offer tier pricing, i'll jump ship to Dan Hesse with Sprint for my 69 unlimited plan. and we all know Sprint will still be running that promotion to retain/get new customers

I'm going to cling to my alltel plan as long as possible anyway, and i have a very strong feeling that it wont be "compatible" with 4g phones...although thats just my theory. 3g is perfectly acceptable on the phone for me and LTE isn't going to be around here any time soon anyway, my incredible is safe for now as i'd rather have "slow" unlimited than blazing "bam where the heck did this bill come from" internet

Same here. I am much more content paying $85/month total for my service, and still be able to use 5-10gb of data per month. Even with 1-2 bars, I can still download around 1.0-1.5mb/s, and I'm fine with that.
