I just read an article at engadget about verizon releasing LTE to the nfl cities. My question is, when its finally released will our incredibles be able to get 4g? I don't really know a lot about 4g? Will only 4g phones work on LTE?

Mods I wasn't sure where to put this, feel free to move it if it's in the wrong place.

I'm going to cling to my alltel plan as long as possible anyway, and i have a very strong feeling that it wont be "compatible" with 4g phones...although thats just my theory. 3g is perfectly acceptable on the phone for me and LTE isn't going to be around here any time soon anyway, my incredible is safe for now as i'd rather have "slow" unlimited than blazing "bam where the heck did this bill come from" internet ;)

Same here. I am much more content paying $85/month total for my service, and still be able to use 5-10gb of data per month. Even with 1-2 bars, I can still download around 1.0-1.5mb/s, and I'm fine with that.
