Added SetCPU today. On the Fascinate, it does let you set profiles and adjust the CPU scaling - just not as detailed as the HTC devices. The CPU by default is set to conservative - one that I had "laggy" issues with the Droid Inc with as well.

*I set to "On Demand", checked set on boot. Max 1000000 Min 200000
*I set a profile for the phone to run at 384MHz when the Screen is Off, thus saving battery. 200MHz made me have to do a battery pull after the screen turned off.

For whatever reason, even with the Lag Fix applied to my phone, I have been seeing some lag. This has caused a small improvement above and beyond the Lag Fix.

As a side note, Set CPU is free for XDA members here

Nice but have you OC'd her yet. Im curious to see how high these hummingbirds can run. Considering Droids were pulling 1.2Ghz+ in some cases on 65nm, I have to imagine we are capable of more with 45nm.
Cool Beans about it being free for xda members

Can't without a custom kernel which works with the phone. The governor doesn't allow me to pull above 1000 MHz

I had my Droid Inc up to 1.15 with ease and it flew - I am more than optimistic that this can handle the same or more

Right, of course. Yeah I'd be stunned not to be at 1.2-1.3.
Is there anything specific about your 384Mhz when the screen is off. I know you said 200 needed a battery pull but did you try anything in between?

Thats the weird thing...with the Droid Inc, I could pretty much put it anywhere between - this seems to jump in increments of 200-400, but 384 is there?? That was the setting I used for the Dinc to save battery...

I can't tell from your posts, but are you recommending SetCPU or not?

Has it improved battery life or not?
