1. Has anyone tried to opt out of the contract without paying the ridiculous $300+ dollar fee?
2. When someone calls me, they hear the tone (idk the proper name) for 3 times, and only then my phone starts ringing. How can i make it so that my phone will respond quicker to calls?

1. No. It goes down by $10 a month, doesn't it?

2. You want to adjust the slot cycle probably. I'd suggest 1, you may want to try 0. The default is 2.

yes, it does. Its a ridiculous price, that is why i was wondering.

I could argue it either way but I think that offering valuable phones at a discounted price makes it, at least, reasonable that the early termination fee try to match the actual cost of the phone. Nobody is making you sign a two year contract, you can always buy the phone at retail.
