Root Status 7 while flashing cm 6

I tried flashing cm6 this morning and I got anerror saying status 7 installation aborted. Does anyone know what that means?

is your NAND unlock? I believe you need to flash Eng Bootloader

I can do nandroid backup do I guess it's unlock. I have clockworkmod recovery.

I asked because I was using unrevoked when the first nighty came out and I was not able to flash CM6.When you go into HBOOT Do you this "S-OFF"

This will solve your issue,follow every single direction and you will succeed.

I was able to get it installed using your instructions, but now I don't have any Google apps and when I try to log in to my email it says could not contact server. Can you help?

Ok. So I flashed this rom today and I have been experienceing some freezing while taking the phone out of sleep. And the only thing That helps is a battery pull. Any suggestions?

Did u flash any of the snap Kernels? Bfore installing the ROM did u wipe everything properlly

I did not flash snaps. Which so u recommend? I wiped data and cache before flashing rom.

Before flashing any ROM a full wipe is required,so thats where u messed up,wipe everything and reflash the ROM Im pretty sure that will take care of your issue

Ok I did that and everything seems to be working great. Except I installed snap kernel and Turbo and not I only have 100 MB of internal disc space. I didn't install any apps yet.

Yes thats common in 7.6 try moving some of your apps to sd/card.

What's the benefit of using 7.6 over the one that came with the rom. Btw i love this rom.

Mostly,Performance due to I/O improvements and some minor tweaks to improve battery life.
