Hey all, I'm very new to android having just bought a HTC Desire and am only just getting used to this whole applications business.

Anyway, I thought since I'm currently trying to learn Spanish that it'd be great if there was a nice application that could help.

So does anybody know of or have any personal experience using any language learning applications that they could recommend please?

Translator with voice iphone app is a best solution to this. It uses different learning methods so it is fun. If you are any beyond beginning, it is way too basic.

I would never recommend a translator as a learning tool, ever. And that is me, a guy with a degree in teaching.

to the OP: Try searching the Market for Spanish and you will ifnd a lot of apps that can be used to learn the language.

Hiya I am Learning Spanish

CueBrain, Que Onda Spanish, Spanish Verbs Conjugation Trainer and iStart Spanish are all very good apps and are what I use, they all offer and focus on different aspects and are good reference as well

Now as for Rosetta Stone I actually use their Totalle with its the new version and its well worth the money, Since its new they only recently started developing an Android app to work along side it( Apple already have apps) Basically the apps are free but you have to be a Registered Rosetta Stone user to be able to use them.

If you did go and get Rosetta Stone V4 is the best one too get, and its best to buy straight from them they allow you to spread the payment costs. Do not buy on ebay or amazon as there are a lot of counterfeits around its best to be safe.

Choose Your Language - Rosetta Stone Store

Hope I've been able too help
