One of the things I do is in life is write. I've had two books and tons of shorter pieces published so far.
Why do I mention this? Because my history pertains to my assessment of the Epic 4G.
Lately, I've been leaving my netbook at home and relying my Epic for writing. The reason: I'm currently reading someone's manuscript on my Kindle to deliver a book report to the editor and publisher, as promised. This means I'm carrying too many devices with me as I travel.
But I've also found that the experience of writing on the Epic has been better than on any other smartphone.
Another thing I do is play piano. Between the Epic's blissfully resistant keyboard and the ease of Swype, I've found I can write page after page in lobbies, restaurants and trains. Anywhere I'm stuck, I can write comfortably.
Granted, a netbook is still the better writing experience. But the Epic provides the best writing experience of any smartphone I've tried so far.
