You won't be the only one reading the posted answers. Got my Epic (moving from an old Treo) the first day available from Sprint, and I've been looking ever since!

I really like K-9 Mail for email.

Sirius/XM-since I already subscribe to this satellite radio service for my car.

Enjoy your Epic!

I'm a newbie, as well. A couple days ago when I first got this I found a Redbox app but now I can't seem to find it again. Anybody know what might be going on with this? Is this typical of the Android Market, for apps to cycle in and out??

**just to clarify, not the app with the so-called free codes, the app that located vending machines and permitted online reservations.

I am a fan of these-

Fildo (a music download app, like the notorious imusic)
Astro (a file manager. haven't had to use it yet, but I'm sure I will eventually)
OI Safe password manager

and these games are some of the funner games I've found:

Gem Miner
Robo Defense
Parallel Kindom (the novelty of fighting slimes and direwolves on a map of my neighborhood wore off pretty quickly, but it's still worth looking at!)

If you have done the recent update, give it a few days to show back up :)

ShootMe, to get screen grabs of your phone. market says for rooted phones but worked on my non-rooted phone
TuneIn radio - local hd radio stations
Shazam - tells you the name of the song your hearing, in case you dont know but want to know
NESoid - Nintendo emulator, just get the game roms online (doperoms.com is a good choice) and put them on the sd card and nesoid will play them, works awesome with the keyboard. Check the dev's other apps too, he has other systems along with the NES
Handcent SMS - text messenger app that offers more options and flexibility than the stock app
