Root phone just shuts off when browsing the internet/google maps

for some reason my phone keeps shutting off. the only times it shut off on me is when i've been using either: google maps, browse the internet, sprint family locator, yellow pages, i think that's it.

i've also had problems with my phone not staying asleep. i've posted about it before, but never found a resolution.

i have wiped, reflashed, PLENTY of times.

right now i have fresh 3.1.0.1 with original kernal.

is there any known problems that would be causing my phone to keep rebooting?

Are u overclocking maybe?... I had a similar problem with the browser when I got past 1.228mhz.

i have it on my phone, but i'm not using it.

hard reset solved my problem.
