ringtone question

is there a way to set a shortcut on the homescreen for a ringtone so i can just click it and it will start playing on the music player?

You could make a playlist with just the one audio file and then use

Add to home>Shortcut>Music Playlist

Tapping it will immediately start the playing in the music player.

You want a shortcut to set a ringtone, or play it? Why would you want to play a ringtone and not the entire song?

lol its kinda stupid but im a cop and work last out (midnight to 8) and i always mess with people who wear sunglasses strolling around the hood at 3 in the morning so i like playing i wear my sunglasses at night through the PA system....stupid but entertaining and keeps me up jokin with people
