This update brings a fix too the 50% bug you still need to throw your phone in GSM/CDMA (Auto PRL) but after that it works it reports the same thing as cell standby is trying to get 50% signal but after 13 hours off charger im at 93% a very very great improvement.

If you have a custom rom/recovery then follow these steps: (You may flash back to stock but it is not required according to drellisdee)
This is the VZB update rooted, deodexed, junkware removed, and files that kill your custom recovery removed delivered as a full rom. This has the new radio in it too. Be careful when flashing that you do not power off phone or cancel the update once started as it can brick if you do. Check the MD5 for a match before you flash to make sure the update is not corrupted in downloading as this is vital as it has a radio.img. Removed apps will be in a folder called VZB on your sdcard after flashing.

1. Copy signed_VZB_rooted_deodex_radio_1015.zip to sd card and boot into a custom recovery.

2. Wipe /data & /cache

3. Apply update.

4. After full reboot into android power off and reboot into recovery.

5. Wipe /cache as this is necessary to get market working after the radio flash.

6. Reboot to android and enjoy.

Download signed_VZB_rooted_deodex_radio_1015.zip

MD5= 8d699bfce385343ce63a7536e7300051

FOR MD5 MATCHING TOOL GO HERE, THIS IS VERY SERIOUS, IF YOUR DOWNLOAD GETS CORRUPTED YOU WILL BE BRICKED, RE-DOWNLOAD IF IT DOES NOT MATCH, CHECK AGAIN AFTER MOVING THE FILE TO YOUR SDCARD!!

Testing this right now, hope it works but having a phone that cant get 12 hours standby is getting old.

EDIT: Does not work on my phone, battery went from 47% to 44% in about 15-20min with the phone just sitting there.

really
i don't even think i've gotten the newest update yet
but as long as i turn gps during the day when i'm not using it, on a heavy day of usage mine is still at 35-40% battery life and i'd say thats about 16 hours of pretty heavy usage.

i took mine off the charger at 8am est this morning and its no 518est and i still have 66 percent battery life with being on the internet for nearly 2 hours, constant texting and a few minutes worth of phone calls
