Flashing trackball...

Using the latest CM6 RC1 stable release.

Whenever i get a notification my track ball flashes, and wont stop flashing after i check the notification, until i put the phone to sleep. I am using handcent, and in the notification settings i cant access the trackball flashing setting, its dark and unable to be clicked.

any suggestions?

best bet..nandroid and flash the nightly again or a new one if you haven't already

I have yet to flash on a new nightly build. After a nandroid, do i have to delete all the data before i flash on a new nightly even though i already have the stable? I know when flashing on a new rom entirely i need to wipe and delete the caches and stuff, but i dont know when flashing a new nightly

9/20 just came out..flash that..the only thing you do is wipe the cache and dalvik cache then flash the nightly..reboot..go right back into recovery and flash the kernal..then you're finished
