Just wanted to share my happiness over the audio quality of my phone when played through my Odyssey's stereo. With all of the Pandora radio stations I created, I have no need for Sirius or XM ever again. And hearing incoming calls over the car's speakers, being able to talk hands-free, and then being returned to the music at the conclusion of the call, is just so cool!

If at the end of this year when his contract is over Howard takes off, I'm canceling my Sirius as well :D I do like to listen to a few music stations on SAT because they play all the latest stuff, and I have noticed that Pandora and Slacker play a random mix with a lot of old "hits" of the specific style or from the specific artist.

I assume there is no app to listen to Sirius on DX? Can anybody with rooted DX confirm is you can load Sirius web flash app to stream it through a phone? Just curious.

I think there is a Sirius XM app but you have to be an "online subscriber" in addition to a regular radio subscriber..

I mainly use scanner radio (police and fire scanner) with a plug from my phone to the line in on my car but I've also done this several times with pandora (especially on long drives) and it works great!
the scanner radio sounds clear enough that I've gotten odd looks from people while stopped at traffic lights before lol. mildly amusing

i like slacker better. plays a larger variety of what i like. i feel like after listening to pandora after awhile it forgets what station its on and plays whatever it likes. grooveshark is amazing if you want to pay the extra money for it. you can pick and play anything you want

Grooveshark just upped the ante considerably in my book; it's the first one of these types of programs I've searched for particular bands I like that actually showed up.

There is a Sirius app and it works pretty good. You cannot get Stern over the app. In fact, Stern has been hinting that he is leaving Sirius and will go with a direct to phone subscription service for about $5 month. That could be the nail in the coffin for Sirius XM.

You can now get Howard Stern on the Sirius app which is pretty sweet. I already have Sirius in my car and listen to him, great show.

Ok, I have the HTC Inspire for AT&T and I have been having a problem lately. With my iphone, I could connect the phone to my car (using the USB) and it would automatically show up as an auxiliary input, which was cool because I could run Pandora directly through my car stereo.

When I plug in my Inspire, it doesn't automatically register on my car as an aux input...therefore, I can't use it to play Pandora. Is there a setting I'm missing here to use my phone for this purpose? I've looked through the settings and can't seem to find anything.

Has anyone else had (and solved) this problem?
