Root unrevoked 3 and 3.21

I'm a noobie with rooting and android, but I believe the only difference is the software bug fixes to unrevoked. I would assume that if you have successfully rooted with unrevoked3 when it was first up or from the download that was posted within their message board (as I did), then you don't need to do anything. Of course, I could be wrong, so if so, someone please feel free to correct us!

unRevoked 3 does not unlock nand so it is not a full root. unRevoked 3.21 is the new root method that is an all in one, one click utility that includes root and nand unlock.

Yes it will do a full root and unlock nand with the new 3.21 that was released last night!

The question had to do with the difference between unRevoked 3 and unRevoked 3.21, they are not the same thing...

Yes, 3.21 is the newest version and addresses some issues people were having with 3.2.

No there is no need to do that.

Do either of you know how i can check to see which version of unrevoked I used/ I know it sounds crazy I don't know which one i have but I had help online to root and I am trying to figure out if nand is unlocked (S-off???) I have the super user ninja in my apps but I wamted to make sure f I am protected if I accidently screw up and do a OTA update. My understanding is unrevoked forever is permanent or is it unrevoked or unrevoked... clearly I am confused! I know in boot loader it says clockworkmod 2.51 something...

unRevoked Forever is the permanent one.

Here is how you check if nand is unlocked:

1. Turn off your phone.
2. Hold the down volume arrow while pressing the power button. (Brings you to bootloader menu)
3. At the very top of that menu it should say your hboot version, some other stuff and S-ON or S-OFF.
