Change Epic's Lockscreen?

I thought widget locker would just show certain widgets on the lockscreen? I want to change the lockscreen itself, although I think it would be a nice addition. I want to change the actual lock on the screen. I've seen many others in this thread -> http://androidforums.com/android-themes/4425-post-your-android-desktop.html
However, I have not been able to figure out where to get any of them.

Widget locker gives you many options. You can put multiple sliding locks, each customized to do their own thing. For example, you set a lock set on the bottom of the screen.. the left sliding lock, you can set to unlock the phone. The right sliding lock, you can set it to change the phone from ringing to vibrate or silent. Another set on top of that for the camera and screen brightness if you choose. So, you have many options to what you can open directly from your lockscreen. Sliding the camera lock, will take you directly to the camera. Hope that helps. You can go on youtube, there are some videos on there where people review the widget locker app. You get to see some of the things it does, etc.

.......Only downside is that I can see the touchwiz lock screen for a few seconds sometimes. Any way to fix that?

Kouki, I am still learning all the features in the "Settings Menu", but I believe there is a settings somewhere that will bypass/override the touchwiz device lock....I do not have that problem you are running into...I was just going one setting on the menu at a time just to see what the program offered until I had it the way I wanted it to work.

Candi3188 I am pretty sure you will be happy with widgetlocker, you can do a lot with it. It is only $2.00 a price of a burger "ONLY"......lol

Does the TouchWiz lockscreen actively fight with thirdparty lockscreens the way Htc's fought with LockBot, or does it politely step out of the way for thirdparty lockscreens? Before I abandoned the official ROMs altogether, HTC's dysfunctional Hero lockscreen (and the way it fought with pretty much everything that tried to replace it) drove me to really start actively hating my Hero by February. The day I reflashed it with AOSP a couple of months ago was literally the first time I ever had a lockscreen on the phone that wasn't dysfunctional and didn't cause at least as many problems as it solved (rooting allowed me to delete HtcLockscreen.apk, but then I was screwed if an alarm went off... DamageControl got me 98% of the way home, but had some other quirk I vaguely remember -- I think it left menu-menu unlocking enabled).

The fact that the Epic4g doesn't even have real hardkeys makes keeping the phone's touchscreen effectively neutralized when the phone is in my pocket even MORE imperative.

TouchWiz lockscreen is quite happy to hide away and let Widgetlocker do it's thing.

Every once and a while it shows up for a split second when Widgetlocker doesn't cover it up fast enough. If what unknown zone said is true this is fixable but I haven't bothered personally since it is barely noticeable. Even a force close doesn't cause any issues since Widgetlocker is back up and running almost instantly.
