Pictures and specs of HTC's full 2010 LINEUP!

That's pretty impressive. That guy put alot of time and effort into that post. But to be honest, the only phone that looks like it will be a "must-get" is the HTC Bravo. Camera has a flash, 3.7in screen, and will have the Snapdragon. But with it coming out not til April (supposedly), I guess I'll be stuck with the Eris. Oh well!

Also, since this has nothing to do with the Passion, it should probably go under "Android News and Talk".

Don't get me wrong, this is great info, but I fear it does not apply to anyone in the US. I'm betting these are all Euro/World planned devices. I think the Passion/PassionC are devices being tested for the US market only.

I feel there was not enough solid info for me to fully bite on these being what we will actually have.

For all we know this could be what we will get or this could be a cut, copy, paste, photo chop euro job??

Thanks for posting this was a good read

If that is real props to that guy for doing all of the work. Pretty impressive. Good news for me is at least all of that was T-Mobile related. Still a glimmer of hope for VZW although unless some info is dug up that light is starting to fade. I reeeeeally hope I do not have to break down and get the ERIS. Great phone but, I would prefer to start out with something that might not be shot down in 3 months with something better......what dream world do I live in?

Forgot to put this up. May be late but here it is anyway.

The poster of all this info, B3ler3fonte, says in the first paragraph of the post that the Unlockr pictures we have all been calling the Passion is actually the Bravo and that this false identification was what prompted him to post this info.

Could be. I think every U.S. Passion fan would like to believe that since no one would be particularly thrilled about waiting four additional months for this phone. I suppose this would mean that T-Mobile NATCO DAY would be refering to T-Mobile (UK)?

Android Phones

The same with me. I really want to get the Passion but if it (bravo) really is coming out in April, I might as well get Eris.

Those are most likely the European release dates, too. While it's possible that the Passions could release in the US before Europe as the Droid did, HTC's normal practice is to release in Europe before the US. For example, some phones that came out around April in Europe this year didn't reach the US until August/September.

T mobile is also a carrier in the UK, so there may be no actual US info. I don't care what the source says, the passion and the bravo are not the same phones even with a glance at the pictures. The passion is also mentioned by name in that leaked ROM. The bravo looks like a nice phone, but it's no passion.

Yes, the original poster just made this comment

"I was about to mention about the TMO logo on them, but i ran out of....15000 words limit , so i was watting for som1 to mention it. So, this logo was due to the fact that TMO is interested on those mobiles for the 2010 as @ Vienna each and every Operator, took its brochure with what has been already agreed.
...
"

This means each carrier received a different brochure with different devices(the ones they already agreed upon). The brochure the poster had was intended for t-mobile uk.

What i take away from this is that the passion (&dragon) may still exists but it was on the brochures intended for the US carriers.
I also read the android devices are selling better in the US so far so it makes scene that they would release devices sooner here.

What i did take away from this is that at least HTC is finally working with some nice hardware and designs (snapdragon, AMOLED, HD)

I think he's saying the Bravo is NOT the passion, and the pictures of the "Passion" we've seen on unlockr were not of the passion, but the Bravo.

So if he's to be believed, we don't know what the passion looks like at all.

How do u figure? theres no way to compare it to anything in the pic.
just wondering

also if the passion isnt the one in the unlocker pic what is it then?

Not sure but here's what I figure...Look at the HD2 with its 4.3 in screen. Look at its border (space between the edge of the phone and the start of the screen) and the space where the hardware buttons are. Very slim all over. Look at the Unlocker pics. Much larger border and key area. If thats a 4.3 inch screen in there...No way I'm buying that phone... It'll be like the 1990 brick phone it'll be so big!! People will point and laugh and I think HTC would think of that! Chances are thats a 3.7 in screen for some other phone

Except that the unlockr pictures look nothing like the Bravo from the brochure pictures in his post. In particular, the unlockr's pics have the soft buttons above the trackball whereas the Bravo has a pair of hard buttons on either side of the trackball. I'm not sure what prompted him to say the unlockr's pics were indeed the Bravo and not the Passion, which no one has seen otherwise, considering the fact there's a reasonable difference. I'm not proclaiming the unlockr's pics are the Passion for sure, but it's not the Bravo.

if the passion ended up not having the 4.3 screen and was the phone in the unlocker pic then the only thing that makes it different than the eris is what? (seeing that the eris gets the 2.0 update in Jan) and (3.7 screen and 3.2 screen are pretty close)

all i know of is the processor: Eris - 528 mhz to Passion - 1 ghz

While I don't doubt the source who posted that brochure it sounds like he may be mistaken on the claim that the Passion / Dragon are actually the Bravo. On the recent leaked ROM list of names the Passion, Dragon, and Bravo are all listed separately. Therefore they can't be the same phone unless that list is very up in the air and some of those are various code names that may actually be the same phone in some cases.

Unless what he meant is that the Unlockr pictures of what is rumored to be the passion is actually the HTC Bravo in a more initial stage. Meaning the Passion has yet to be actually seen. Somehow I slightly agree with some of the others on the fact that he may have a brochure more geared toward phones to hit Europe / UK, and looks / release dates / names / carriers may not be very accurate to what we'll see in the US. Who knows.... If I don't see much in the way of solid announcements for the U.S. by the end of January, I'm buying the Eris.

This all seems very speculative and unconfirmed, and I just found another flaw in that brochure the guy is posting pics of....

If you look in the first pic he gives a link to for the Bravo...

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b65/NyoR/2009-12-0619-07-17_0013.jpg

Look at the "User Experience" section... The first sentence says the following....

"Websites, maps, Videos, and Images come to life when viewed on the Incredible."

Keyword... INCREDIBLE

The "Incredible" is another model that was listed in that recent leaked ROM List....

The paragraph of that same section later on refers to the "Bravo" but why does it mention an entirely different model first, considering the whole section is supposed to be on the Bravo?

That discrepancy along with the shitty image quality makes me question if this is all BS. Am I wrong?

How are you guys twisting this into something positive? The way i read it, there is no htc 1 Ghz android phone coming for verizon for the next 12 months. Am I missing something?
I think you are. It's the lineup for H1 which means first half of 2010; so it's the next 6 months not 12. Also, not a single phone listed there is CDMA. That means the list does not contain any info about Verizon or Sprint bound phones and I think it's safe to say there are such phones heading to at least one of those networks within the next 6 months. I wouldn't chalk the news up to a positive for the Passion, but it 's not a downer.

I chalk the "Incredible" mention as bad translation or typo by marketing dept. Most if not all of these mock-ups have never before been seen. He may not have the story 100% straight but this isn't some photoshop job, this is tons of unreleased pics and specs. The event was in europe and the guy is from europe so he's probably not in touch with the U.S. rumblings.
