baldandtopless is correct use the 4x1 desktop visualizer widget for the horizontal images and then resize it to 3x1

and the vertical images use the 1x2 widget and leave as is

I can read them quite easily. The fact that part of my misspent youth I was a graffiti vandal may have something to do with it.

OK, I'm up to the part "resize widget". When you pick the icon, then the launch function, there is no was to resize the widget at that point in desktop visualizer. How do you do it?

(oooops, I figured it out. Long-press the picture on the screen and let go. A translucent box appears around it. The bottom right corner is a "handle" to drag left to make the widget the correct size of 3X1. It's amazing how many guys in dozens of forums on the internet were asking this same question and a lot of people telling them it couldn't be done on the Evo!)

once widget is on the homescreen you resize it by longpressing on it as if you were to move it then drop it again and then you have the ability to resize it. You have to have launcher pro plus to do this

I am into graffiti and other forms of street art so the icons are perfectly legible to me. I am toying with the idea of other fonts than the plain jain ones that most seem to be intent on using on their own devices. Perk of androide, making your device your own.

It was my intent to make the text a bit different than what others were using. I still dabble in graffiti in various forms even now.

Only recently rooted my phone. Installed Fresh 3.2 and Swype.
