Root Is my phone bricked?

Put my phone on the charger last night, woke up this morning and tried to unlock it to check the time but it was completely unresponsive. Tried to power it up as if it somehow died while it was on the charger but that was a no go too. I've tried to boot into recovery and tried a battery pull as well but nothing seems to work. All that is happening is I see the LED light up blue when I press down the power button. I was rooted but still running stock 2.1. I also had Bootstrapper installed along with ROM Manager.

I'm guessing that I received the OTA last night and when the phone tried to reboot Bootstrapper blocked the install and maybe the screen timed out??? Am I screwed here? Can an SBF save me even though I can't seem to get the phone to boot at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the battery is completely dead. Leave it plugged in the wall for a few hours

How would it have died while it was plugged into the charger? Would it sitting in the Rom Manager screen keep it from charging?

Edit - I just unplugged from the PC and plugged it into the wall and now the green charging light won't come on at all. Should I just leave it plugged into the PC?

very strange it charges on the pc and not the computer. I guess leave it on the pc for awhile and see where it gets you.

The motorola android phones seem to be amazingly finicky about recharging

sounds to me like you have a problem with your wall charger cause that blue led means completely dead battery. is your charger a plug with the usb cable running out of it? if so maybe they got just separated far enough to not charge (hence no green light when in wall) its happened to me a couple times, wake up to dead phone and find that the charger came apart some (i think my cat must play with it sometimes under the bed). also, due to lower amount of power coming thru your pc, it will take much longer to charge thru pc-usb. good luck!
