I am interested in getting the Samsung Moment but I'll need to wait awhile if I have to purchase it as an upgrade through sprint.

It appears that I can get it through wirefly.com for $99, is this true? Are there any stipulations? Sprint recognizes this company and they allow it?

I currently have 2 phones with sprint on separate lines, one of them is my girlfriend's phone. I have the Everything Data Share 1500 plan. Can I still upgrade through a site like wirefly and keep this plan or get something similar? I need to keep the 2nd phone active, and with unlimited data, etc.

Thank You in advance.

I was able to get Best Buy to pricematch wirefly, but I don't think they're officially supposed to do that. Luckily I think I got a general manager who didn't know the departmental details for the mobile department to say "come back tomorrow" (they weren't doing ANY price matches for black friday weekend) and then when I told the wireless manager that the GM had okay'ed it as long as I came back the next day, he just went ahead and did it. It's worth a try I'd say... based on evilbeef's story it sounds like you'll have a better customer experience if you can go through Best Buy. Plus I was able to ask over and over for the rep to make sure nothing happened to my company discount while he was processing it. I may have annoyed him a little bit, but it was worth it to ensure that my discount wouldn't drop off.

Ok, that sounds like a good idea worth trying. Thanks!

Anyone know of any other ways around going through Sprint directly?

I bought mine through wirefly. Though I got mine in about a week, there were a few small issues along the way that I found frustrating. If it weren't for the price, I would have never ordered it. And I'll never order from them again. And Best Buys' in Utah don't carry Sprint in the stores.

BTW, the $99.99 price only applies for an eligible upgrade. If you aren't eligible to upgrade directly through Sprint, you can't upgrade for that price through wirefly.

I bought two phones from wirefly and had them in 3 days. As long as there isn't anything strange about your situation it sounds like it works. You already have the 1500 data plan so you are good on your plan. If you pick a plan for a single phone and you have other phones on your account that could stop it from going smoothly. A friend tried to get his at the $49.95 price but picked a single plan because he was thinking of moving his wife to prepaid but she has 12 months left on her contract and he didn't want to spend $129.99 per month.

If you have fulfilled 22 months (or is it 20?) on your current contract you should be eligible, you can find out on sprints website. If not don't try it.
