Help Htc desire memory space problem

Good evening everybody. I'm a newbees for the android htc desire. here is may big problem..

1) after install application, message appear " low memory space" my question is why is to so...how to install application and save to sd card.

2) how to change a song for incoming call and sms using a music. because original song in the phone is so bored.

For the music you want an app called Tone picker, it is free from the market.

so..how about memory low..
