Gotta give it up for Zimly. I love to listen to the same song song 2 or 3 times in a row(I'm a wierdo I know), so its great that Zimly will allow repeat 1 AND shuffle on at the same time. So that means I can listen to a song a few times in a row and when I select next track, instead of it selecting the next track in the list and repeating it forever, it selects another random song that will then repeat forever. The responses it gives you when you delete songs are kinda funny also.

I guess I will chime in on this as well.

I use Btunes because I've not used a music player that allows me to see EVERY song by an artist at once. I always have to view by album. Btunes is a copy of the iPhone music app. After choosing "artists" you can select an album or all albums. This allows me to shuffle all songs by 1 artist if I want to.

Please let me know if there is another music app that also allows you to do this.

Btunes also has an attractive widget, as well as lockscreen controls that I like.

The default/stock music player does this. After opening the app, go to the main "Artist" screen.

On the bottom part of the screen, you will see a few icons representing:

ARTIST - ALBUMS - PLAYLISTS - SONGS - GENRES - COMPOSERS

Go ahead and select "Songs" and voila ! There are all your songs by all your artists into one nice list

Is DoubleTwist the only music app that displays compilations correctly? For soundtracks this is essential.

In the album view of MusicMod, stock, mixzing, etc., it shows that each song on a soundtrack is its own album. The only way to listen to the soundtrack is to create your own playlist.

DoubleTwist is the only one I've found that works correctly.

No one else has this issue?

Mort. I like folders, and have a lot of albums on my sd card. Nero AAC HE @ Q.35 sounds great and files are small. Most of the time Q.25 is adequate for my needs. For those who say they don't have enough space for their music, look at some compression options other than mp3. I have thousands of hours of music available. Fast 16gb cards are cheap.

I usually just use the stock one, but recently, after switching to LauncherPro... I've been using FLiP because I like the widget.

FLiP???

Nevermind, found it.

Edit: No thanks

Five row icons plus Music Mod 4x2 FTW.

Is the Rhapsody app good? I've been a Rhapsody customer for like 5-6 years now...and will likely continue to use them.

I like the pick any song at any time business model...though I don't like the fact that you never get to own any music without paying extra.

I wish their packages came with 10 downloads a month or something...at least I'd have something to show for my investment long term.

I have an Incredible but there aren't enough music threads on that page.

i have went thru, stock, music mod, mixzing. nd for some reason im not able to have the album covers stick

using itag from the market renamed all my music that i downloaded, corrected all of the album covers, but it doesnt seem to save..can someone help me..pretty please

You need to integrate the album art into the mp3 file itself. you'll have better luck doing this on your pc with mediamonkey. It's a laborious task , but well worth the effort. Just play the songs, select the ones you want to edit, and select 'autotag from web'. If the itags are correct, youll get the album art. Then just take your mp3s and stick them in your sd card and the album art should show up on all your music players. Or you can just mount your phone and play the tracks directly from the phone into mediamonkey and edit them that way.

I use both stock and mixzing depending on how i listen to my music. When i listen to my library track by track, and like to be able to delete a track im tired of on the fly, i use mixzing . Also the equalizer was good, until i found this http://androidforums.com/incredible...pmanager-rocks-audio-upgrade.html#post1688971

that equalizer totally rocks and creates a very nice music experience on the phone, you need to root though.

The thing mixzing is missing is being able to listen to tracks sorted by artist or album. In the stock music player, i just go to artist and select play all and all the tracks play sorted by artist without having to go through and select each album or each artist individually, just one long playlist. To date i haven't found another app that does this, and I've tried a bunch. Anyone know of one?

I'm having an issue with Music Mod. I download the Stern show to play on my Evo, and sometimes (well, a lot of times) when I go to resume the show after pausing it, it pops back to the beginning. I've gotten to where I make a mental note of the elapsed time so I can slide back to it when it happens. Doesn't seem to happen with music, but then again, music files aren't 4 hours long, so I'm not pausing and resuming several times during a track.

Gonna try a different player to see if it's MM or the file.

Edit: Tried stock and Doubletwist, same issue. Weird. Also sometimes have an issue with the file skipping ahead a few minutes when I resume, so maybe these players just aren't meant to handle 4-5 hour audio files.
