Facebook: How do you make a status update with a picture attached?

I know how to upload pictures to a Facebook album, and I know how to make a status update, but how do I do both at the same time, so I can comment on the picture?

(This is not the same as giving the picture a caption, which I also know how to do.)

Thanks.

What version of F.B do you have? I have version 1.3.2 and it works on my phone that way.

Are you sure it works the way I'm talking about? There's a camera button next to the status update, but using that button still only uploads a picture to the mobile album. It doesn't attach the picture to the actual status update itself. How are you able to do this?

When you upload it it does say it goes to the mobile album, but when I tested it out it uploaded it to my wall. Did you try it or bail when it said mobile album?

I tried it. I typed in a status update and then attached a picture, but when I uploaded it the status update was by itself and the picture was in the mobile upload folder.

In case anyone else needs to know, I figured out how to do it. When you choose a picture to upload, by default it uploads to your Mobile Uploads album. But there is a button with a "+" sign on it that you can tap, and from there you can choose to upload to your Wall instead. Then, adding a caption to the picture is the same as adding a status update to the picture instead.

As long as it shows on your wall, does it matter that it also shows in mobile uploads? Or are you saying that it is showing twice? Once as a wall post, and once as a new photo?

No, I'm saying the problem was that it *didn't* show up as a wall post at all. It just uploaded the photo to my mobile album and that was it. Any comment I made was stored as the photo's tag, instead of becoming a wall post.
