Hi All,
This is Siva here.. A new joinee to your forum .-). I have htc wildfire.. Really enjoying it.. I ned to copy ringtones to the system folder, but sinceit is read only I am not able to do so.. Is there any possibility to change the properties of the system folder or some other means so that I can set notifications, alarms by default method..Thanks in advance..

Sivai..

Thanks... But for setting some of my own tones as notifications or alarms is still not possible.. I can play any song and then set as ringtone.. it works fine.. But i am not able to find a way for setting my own tones for notfications and alarms.. In one of the sites, I came around creating a folder in SD > media > audio > notifications/alarms. Still its not showing up when setting notifications/alarms.. Any ideas??

I want to paste new fonts to the system folder. since my language is different, I have different font type for android. but I cann;t paste any fonts file. because folder is read only.
Could you help me to get the full access to system folder.

Thanks

If you are rooted then use fontchanger
If you are not rooted then i dont think there is a way to achieve this since you wont have control over the system files
